Battle of Kingdom Granny Smith

by: Kate Cassell

One day Apple woke up. Apple was green and had brown and white spots all over him. For hair he had a brown stem but this morning the stem was crooked because he just woke up.

Today was the day that Apple was supposed to defeat the evil Banana Meister and save Kingdom Granny Smith. The only problem was that he didn't know how to. Apple had been reading books like crazy trying to figure out Banana Meister's weakness. But, alas, he had no such luck. Later as he was walking around Kingdom Granny Smith, he heard a couple of people talking about Banana Meister. They had figured out his weakness; It was Jiffy Chunky Peanut Butter with some bread.

"Ah hah," he thought, "I have finally found a way to defeat him."

So he went to the local grocery store and ran to the peanut butter isle. He found the Jiffy Chunky Peanut Butter than he went to the bread section and got some white bread. He payed for it and then left the store. He got to his house and put some chunky peanut butter on a paper plate then put some white bread next to it.

He took the plate of food to Banana Meister's house and put it on his porch steps. He rang the doorbell and then scrambled up as fast as could up onto the porch covering. When Banana Meister came out and saw the food, he smiled then sat down and started eating. Apple gave a battle cry and jumped down on top of Banana Meister. Banana Meister was so surprised that he didn't have time to react. Apple took the chance and peeled Banana Meister, thus ending his life.

Later that day the King of Kingdom Granny Smith threw him a parade then later offered him his daughter, Red Apple, as a wife. He accepted and they both lived happily ever after!!

The End!

HA! I found this to be so clever.

I would love to hear more about how the characters looked. What about the kingdom? The Banana Meister's house?

I feel like I've been introduced to this new world, but I want to really see t, smell t, etc!

Maddie, this one really shows your creativity, and I think this would be a really cute series for childern's books. I know for me, I took a trip down memory lane with the peanut butter (& banana) sandwich.

Keep it coming!
